derma e Donates Product to Help Change Lives

Lauren EvansFoundation News, Supplier Partnerships

Almost a year ago, we opened up the Whole Planet Foundation Bazaar in our offices in Austin. Inside, Whole Foods Market Team Members have the opportunity to shop and donate to support our mission. They can take a few things with them, leave a few dollars and then 100% of what we raise funds microlending programs in the 57 countries where we work.

To date, we have partnered with nearly 100 Whole Foods Market suppliers to display their products to help fundraise. One of those partners is derma e® , a bodycare company founded in 1984 by David Stearn and Dr. Linda Miles, D.O.M. with the commitment of offering skin-friendly, earth-friendly, highly effective natural skincare at affordable prices.  This commitment still guides everything derma e does today in their product line over 80 unique face care, body care and treatment items enriched with healthy vitamins and antioxidants to address various skin types and concerns. Each item is hand-formulated by Dr. Linda herself and is produced in David Stearn’s family-owned, small-batch manufacturing facility in Southern California, USA.

Driven by Results

As a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Dr. Linda ascribes to the antioxidant theory of aging. She designed the derma e line to quench the environmental oxidative stress that ages and debilitates the skin through use of antioxidants, vitamins and botanicals in order to address a wide variety of skin conditions and physical ailments.

Driven by Beliefs

derma e is passionate about a future with healthier skin, a healthier environment and a healthier world. In addition to supporting Whole Planet Foundation, derma e actively volunteers and supports the humanitarian organizations, animal welfare and land conservation programs that are near and dear to their hearts, including Special Olympics. Additionally, a percentage of all product sales is donated to The Paraguay Project, a non-profit program they established to aid the disadvantaged people, rainforest and land of Paraguay.

We hope you will join us in thanking derma e for their generosity!
