Following the Peace Corps, Roxana moved back to the United States to continue her work in community and economic development. Her most recent experience includes managing a state-wide grant focused on job creation and workforce development with a special focus on rural Texas. Prior to joining the State, she was the Director of the ACCION Texas Women’s Business Center in San Antonio. She was responsible for establishing a network of volunteers and stakeholders, managing a team that provided technical assistance to small business owners and working with the loan officers to ensure their clients were ready to access capital.
Roxana loves hiking, discovering new parks, exploring small, rural towns and Austin’s country music scene.
